Back in August we were so lucky to be able to purchase Fron Cottage in Cwmdauddwr, Rhayader. So I went out and bought a broom ready to start uncovering the floorboards under the wallpaper and dust and rubbish that had accumulated over the years the house was empty. We are planning to renovate the house but the first thing to do is a new roof ….

 

The Fron was originally a mill with two cottages. There is nothing much left of the mill itself so it will be a voyage of discovery as open up the rather overgrown garden and see what is underneath the rubble.
