***** ‘Tucked away on a working farm, located next to a stream, this small campsite has gorgeous views of the surrounding hills. If no frills, self sufficient, remote tranquility is what you are after, this is the place. There is a chemical toilet and drinking water on site. Loved this last minute find, would definitely love to make a trip back down to Wales and stay again’

***** ‘A peaceful, quiet site with a glorious aspect. As it is a CS, there is little in the way of facilities. However, the chemical toilet and wash basin in a cute shed was a lovely surprise (all very clean). … very friendly and helpful. There are walks from the site. We cycled to Elan Valley – about 4 miles (via the route not advised for cycling) and came back a different route (the one advised for cycling). The views were lovely and the small back roads extremely quiet. It is a short drive (or longer cycle) to Rhayader. Would highly recommend’

***** Had a lovely couple of nights! Very basic just how we like it! Warm welcome and great views of the Welsh hills and soaring kites. We were treated to demonstration of sheep shearing. Would recommend if you want almost wild camping Trevor (Google Review 7/7/2019)
**** Toilet, tap, stunning scenery, you either love it or hate it, we love it

**** Basic facilities, no showers but there’s drinking water and a spotlessly clean (chemical) toilet. The field is flat and green with lovely views of the surrounding hills. We had a lovely tranquility and a relaxing stay
