Camp at Doliago Farm

If you are looking for simple relaxation or an active holiday Doliago Farm Campsite is in a location that can offer both. The nights are truly dark, sunsets spectacular and you are pretty likely to see a wide variety of wildlife, from the occasional otter or kingfisher to the  kites soaring above your head.

Doliago Farm Campsite, situated on a working livestock farm in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, is close to the Elan Valley and Rhayader in the heart of Mid Wales.

There are 6 pitches: 5 are self-contained pitches where you provide your own toilet facilities and 1 has the use of the simple Ty Bach toilet.

The campsite is on a level field with a stream running alongside, ideal for tents, caravans or motor homes. Dogs are very welcome but we do like them to be well behaved.

The campsite is easily accessed from the A470, which is the main North/South trunk road through Wales.  It is off grid with no electric hook ups. You choose where you pitch on the field, and if you are using the Ty Bach, it has a Chemical Toilet with wash basin and cold running water. There’s a waste and recycling point and a drinking water tap. You can BBQ or have a campfire using a firepit, weather permitting.

The campsite is open from April to the end of October

If camping isn’t really for you then our holiday cottage may be more what you want… Fron Cottage is by a stream… sleeps 6
