If you are looking for simple relaxation or an active holiday Doliago Farm Campsite is in a location that can offer both. The nights are truly dark, sunsets spectacular and you are pretty likely to see a wide variety of wildlife, from the occasional otter or kingfisher to the kites soaring above your head.
Doliago Farm Campsite, situated on a working livestock farm in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, is close to the Elan Valley and Rhayader in the heart of Mid Wales.
The campsite is on a level field with a stream running alongside, ideal for tents, caravans or motor homes. Dogs are very welcome but we do like them to be well behaved.
The campsite is easily accessed from the A470, which is the main North/South trunk road through Wales. It is off grid with no electric hook ups, which does mean that you are able to pitch where you want to rather than be in regimented rows. There is a ‘Ty Bach, which is has a Chemical Toilet with wash basin and cold running water’, together with chemical waste and recycling point and a drinking water tap. You can have a BBQ or, weather permitting, a campfire using one of our fire pits.
As a Camping and Caravan Club Certificated Site (CS) we can accommodate up to five caravans or motor homes as well as ten tents.
The campsite is open from April to the end of October but, out of season, it is worth contacting us at short notice, to see if the field is dry enough to accommodate you.
