Recently refurbished, Fron Cottage is in a secluded location about a mile from Rhayader just off the Aberystwyth Mountain Road. The spacious accommodation sleeps 6 people in three bedrooms with ensuites. There is a large stream side garden and enclosed patio on the site of what was a former carding mill known as Fron Factory or March Melin.

Doliago Farm Campsite, situated on a working livestock farm in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, is close to the Elan Valley and Rhayader in the heart of Mid Wales.
the farm
Doliago is an upland farm 4 miles south of Rhayader and not far from the Elan Valley. We run a flock of native Welsh Mountain sheep and a commercial herd of cattle using modern farm techniques alongside the traditional ways of managing a hill flock that graze on the hills of the Cambrian Mountains. All of our sons have made the decision to carry on in the family business. Tom is also a furniture designer and uses one of the buildings at Doliago to make contemporary commissioned pieces from sustainably sourced British hardwoods. The furniture is designed and made by hand using a combination of traditional and modern techniques.
