Camp at Doliago Farm

If you are looking for simple relaxation or an active holiday Doliago Farm Campsite is in a location that can offer both. The nights are truly dark, sunsets spectacular and you are pretty likely to see a wide variety of wildlife, from the occasional otter or kingfisher to the  kites soaring above your head.Doliago Farm Campsite, situated on a working livestock farm in the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, is close to the Elan Valley and Rhayader in the heart of Mid Wales.

The campsite is off grid and on a level field with a stream running alongside, ideal for tents, caravans, camper vans or small motor homes that don’t need an electric hookup.  Dogs are very welcome but we do like them to be well behaved.

The campsite is easily accessed from the A470, which is the main North/South trunk road through Wales.  The sites simple off grid nature means that you are able to pitch where you want to rather than be in regimented rows. The facilities include a ‘Ty Bach’ which is a Chemical Toilet with wash basin and cold running water’, a chemical waste and recycling point and a drinking water tap. You can have a BBQ or, weather permitting, a campfire using a fire pit.

As a Camping and Caravan Club Certificated Site (CS) we are able to accommodate up to five caravans or motor homes as well as ten tents but, to be honest, we never want to do this because we’d like you have the space to enjoy the views and not feel you’re on top of your neighbours.

The campsite is open from April to the end of October but, out of season, it is worth contacting us at short notice,  to see if the field is dry enough to accommodate you.
